David Y., Insurance and Account Coordinator David also joined our team in August of 2008. David comes to us with 9 years of experience in the dental field. He started his career in dentistry as a dental assistant and then moved to the front office, where he enjoys giving patients excellent customer service by informing patients about their insurance, as well as building that trust with patients in being their advocate to make fine dentistry available to them. “I am so delighted to find doctors that genuinely care about their patients. Their consultative approach with patients is so important to me. They take the time to listen and really find out what the patient wants.” David spent his childhood in Texas and moved to the Seattle area in 1992. He loves the Pacific Northwest, especially having the mountains so close by to go hiking. Also, in his free time, David enjoys getting on the golf course and working on improving his game, which, as all golfers knows, is a perpetual process! |

Lee R., Dental Hygenist The last thing a patient wants from a visit to the dentist is a lecture from their hygienist. Lee knows this only too well. “My role”, she says, “is to provide dental hygiene services while coaching patients to prevent disease and maintain the health of their mouths and bodies.” Is she qualified to coach? With extensive experience in the dental field, her awards include Southern California Dental Hygienist Association Clinician Award, Washington State Dental Hygiene Association Legislator of the Year, former president of the Greater Seattle Dental Hygiene Association, and former trustee to the Washington State Dental Hygienists' Association. Lee and her husband have called Ballard home for the last 13 years. When not at work, she enjoys remodeling her home, sailing, gardening, and “encouraging my husband to floss daily,” she says with a laugh. |
